1. The Requirements
In order to install and get started with the Android Pie 9.0, you need to have these things installed on your device:
- Android Pie ROM (Links given below)

2. Go to TWRP Recovery
Once you have these things installed on your phone, the next thing you need to do is to go to the TWRP recovery. For this, you need to power off your phone and press the “Volume Up”, “Home Button” and power button, all at once, in order to get to the TWRP Recovery. You will see Samsung’s onscreen once you enter the recovery mode. Now release the buttons.
3. Perform A Typical Factory Reset
When you enter the TWRP recovery mode, you need to go to the “Wipe” option and perform a typical factory reset in order to install the ROM.
4. Download the ROM (Lineage OS 16)
Now go to the install option and navigate until you find the ROM you had previously installed. Select your ROM and swipe to flash it. This process will take a few minutes to complete, so you need to be patient.
5. Root Your Phone
The next thing you need to do is to go to the “Root” option and then select the “System” option. This will restart your device with the ROM installed in it.
6. Go to TWRP Recovery Again and Install GApps
Now repeat the step #2 in order to enter the TWRP recovery mode again and install the GApps, from the install section. Swipe to flash and let your device complete the flashing, that will take some time. And Reboot your system again.
